Abstract

This study was designed to incorporate digital technology as an intervening variable and to investigate how digital financial skills, socioeconomic elements, and digital lifestyles affect the use of QRIS in culinary tourism activities. The study took place in a culinary business located in the CIDU market in Makassar City, Makassar. The approach used was quantitative, following a structured research methodology. A total of 100 people participated in this study. Data analysis was carried out using the PLS-SEM model. The findings of the study indicate that Digital Financial Literacy, Socioeconomic Status, and Digital Lifestyle positively and significantly affect the use of QRIS and Technology Acceptance. In addition, Technology Acceptance serves as a mediator in the relationship between independent factors and QRIS use. This analysis confirms that elements such as digital financial literacy, socioeconomic conditions, and digital lifestyles play an important role in driving QRIS adoption. Furthermore, the presence of technology acceptance as a mediating factor enhances this relationship, implying that increased user acceptance of technology correlates with a greater likelihood of using QRIS for payments
